Ugly purse

Found this featured on one of my favorite fashion blogs and iCant.
What the fuck is this purse monstrosity of animal cruelty?

By Merve Tuna of MA Fashion Design and Technology.

Yes, its real fur. What a fashion-challenged Cruella DeVille cunt.

I'm sure that they killed this animal exactly as they kill the others, for their furs. :(

Boiling alive?

Unfortunately. Fuck, that gives me the sadz in a really terrible way. :[

Ugh. You are most likely right (and one of many reasons I do not wear fur), but that doesn't make it look any less like road kill...

seeing as I had boar for dinner a few nights ago, that's not 100% positive! likely, but not 100%.

Here's hoping!
What does boar's meat taste like?
Just curious. I'll never know, because I'm a proud veggie. :)

Pretty much like regular pork, a little...meatier? Texture seems a little different, though, but that could be because it's really lean.

Nothin' wrong with being a veggie, I cook veggie or vegan meals sometimes, just because I like the recipes :D

Interesting. I'm amazed that my parents haven't tried that shit yet.
They at pig's feet, straight outta the vinegar-filled jar. I refuse to watch them eat that stuff, so I've never seen what they do with the foot, since it still has a hoof and hair on it. :O

Its awesome that you're open-minded enough with cooking to make vegetarian and vegan meals! :)

ughghghghghggugugh. I can't do organ meats, or stuff with hair on it. GROSS.

and yeah, I had an awesome vegan friend in college that introduced to me the delicious veg ways :D He's since come to the dark side and eats meat and cheese again- after 14 years of veganism!

One of my worst fears is my health declining so much (I don't take my vitamins like I should) that I end up in the hospital and the doctor orders me to eat meat!

I've only been a vegetarian for around 3 years, but I feel so strongly about it.

I would like to incorporate more vegan meals into my diet, but I could never fully go vegan; I love dairy waaay too much!

Forgot to add that I'm mentioning this, because I've heard about a woman who was vegetarian for 25 years and was ordered to eat meat, by her doctor!
Travis Barker of Blink 182 (ugh) was also ordered to eat meat, when he was in the hospital for that plane crash with DJ AM.

I don't understand being ordered to eat meat- I understand being ordered to eat more protein/complex protein, but not why it'd have to be animal in origin.

well, that's why you take care of your health :) If you did have to eat meat, there's something to be said for ecologically-friendly, ethically farmed meat. My friend started eating meat again because it was a political thing to him- he saw meat/the meat industry as a major driving force behind capitalism, which he disagreed with. He feels differently now about the meat industry and the role it plays, and thusly eats meat again. There are a lot of of "come to the dark side, we have burgers" jokes for him, but I'll say this- he was a hell of a lot healthier when he wasn't eating meat. He's gained a lot of weight since he got off the vegan train :/

Boars are generally wild and generally hunted (not slaughtered) for the meat, although you can farm them, sort of, in countries that permit it. The fur can be used for rugs or the like, but holy fucking hell, nobody should make PURSES from their FACES.
